Competitors from Sorsogon reaped three golds, two silver and one bronze or a total of seven medals in the Regional Skills Competition held in Naga City and Pili, Camarines Sur this October 24-27, 2005, according to the official Medal Standing by Province released by the Regional Office.
Overall, Sorsogon ranked third among the six provinces of the Region, trailing behind Camarines Sur (12 medals: 9 golds, 2 silver, 1 bronze) and Albay (eight: 3 golds, 2 silver, 3 bronze) but surpassing Camarines Norte (five: 2 silver, 3 bronze), Catanduanes (four: 3 golds, 1 silver) and Masbate (three: 2 golds, 1 bronze).
The Regional Skills Competition is a competition among technical-vocational students and practitioners who won or were selected during the Provincial Skills Competition held in the six provinces.
TESDA-Sorsogon congratulates all the Sorsogon competitors and their coaches for doing very well.
