Sixteen representatives from the various TVET bodies in Sorsogon, TESDA-Administered Schools and TESDA Provincial Office attended the Bicol Skills Summit held on August 29, 2005 at the Regent Hotel, Naga City.
Participants from Sorsogon included Ms. Preciosa Villarroya (PTESDC Chair), Mr. Anthony Bravo (PCACC Chair/PTESDC Labor Sector Representative), Ms. Elizabeth Bornas (TESDA Provincial Office), Ms. Annie Perete (CTEC-Pilar), Mr. Andres Grajo (CTEC-Irosin), Ms. Lizbeth Nicolas (CTEC-Juban), Ms. Rowena Fajardo (CTEC-Gubat), Ms. Terencio Advincula (CTEC-Sorsogon City), Ms. Simona Fulo (CTEC-Bulusan), Ms. Vilma Gaon (CTEC-Sta. Magdalena), Mrs. Ramona Bermillo (OIC-VSA, SNAS), Ms. Elena Molenilla (Admin. Officer, SNAS), Mr. Conrado Lopez (Instructor, SNAS), Engr. Roan Espinas (VSA II, BNVTS), Ms. Melinda Fulo (Admin. Officer, BNVTS), and Janet Diño (Instructor, BNVTS).
The Summit was sponsored by the Bicol Skills Foundation Inc. (BSFI), the Metro Naga Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority. It aimed to provide an avenue for exchange of information and ideas between TVET providers and the industry.
